Formed in 1999 following the amalgamation of the City of Toronto, the Toronto Seniors Council is a non-profit organization of individual seniors and interested groups working to address the issues and concerns of older adults in Toronto. Our mission is to be actively involved in working for an improved quality of life and well-being of all seniors in the City of Toronto, whatever their cultural, ethnic, religious background or socio-economic status. TSC Membership offers forums, networking and volunteer opportunities to support positive changes in the Toronto seniors community. Currently the Accessibility Committee is focusing on identifying public areas where access is a concern and evaluating accessibility of selected public spaces in the Toronto seniors' community. Friendly
to Seniors is an ongoing program of the Toronto Seniors Council. Friendly to Seniors provides the education and leadership necessary to support positive attitudes towards aging and encourages the involvement of older adults in all aspects of our communities. To become a member of the Toronto Seniors Council simply print and complete this Membership Form.
